About Us

Having owned dogs for over 40 years and horses for 15 years, Mike and Di Atherton have a passion for the welfare and care of animals.

Mike has over 25 years of human nursing specialising in trauma and orthopaedics with a wealth of experience in rehabilitive care and carries this knowledge forward into Doncaster Hydrotherapy Centre.

Di has a very successful background in the show ring with the Athersbern family of Bernese Mountain Dogs. She has an eye for movement and conformation and is a well respected Kennel Club judge.

Di has worked closely with health care professionals for 15 years and has an uncanny knack of knowing what works to get the best out of everyone she works with.
